The Role
As the People and Culture Senior Business Partner/HR Manager, you will oversee and lead the business partner function and total rewards management for our internal and contingent workforce across Tundra’s North American and international teams. Reporting to the VP of People and Culture, your primary responsibilities will include:

HR Business Partner: Acting as a player-coach, serving as the first point of contact for specific business groups while leading a team of HR professionals on a global scale.

Benefits & Compensation: Manage Total Rewards including but not limited to employee benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)) and oversee compensation structures across the US.

Policy Management: Improve and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and comply with local employment regulations. Monitor local compliance and employment law changes with a laser focus on the US.

Talent Management: Collaborate with management and clients to design and implement comprehensive employee performance programs, incorporating strategies for performance management, succession planning, and continuous improvement to enhance engagement and productivity.

HR Analytics: Monitoring and analyzing HR metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements in HR practices and processes.

HR Culture & Operations: Fostering a positive and productive work environment by focusing on employee relations, onboarding, and offboarding, and overall people operations at a managerial level.

HR Strategy: Collaborating with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals and promote a culture of engagement and inclusion.
Who You Are
-
HR Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is an asset.

3-5+ years of experience in HR management or Senior HR business partner experience, preferably within the staffing industry.

Strong knowledge of US employment laws and regulations, focusing on California labor laws.

Experience overseeing compensation and benefits administration

Proven track record in employee relations and resolving complex HR issues (including managing a contingent workforce).

Experience leading a workforce in California and managing diverse teams across the US.

Proficient with HR systems (ADP, etc.) and software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proven ability to influence and motivate teams.

Strong organizational and project management abilities to juggle multiple tasks and initiatives.

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a broader business perspective.

Ability to work independently, take initiative, and act like an owner.
The salary range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $90,000.00 – $120,000.00.
