Position Summary:
We’re seeking a seasoned technology visionary, fueled by both experience and a fervor for cybersecurity and data privacy. This dynamic role encompasses leading Tundra’s technological direction and extending support to clients as a Sales Engineer. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in securing, designing, and delivering holistic security solutions for our esteemed clients.
The Role:
Internal:
- Strategic Tech Direction: Guide Tundra’s technological trajectory with an emphasis on security and data privacy.
- Vendor Oversight: Oversee external partners to ensure synergy with Tundra’s goals, security benchmarks, and contract commitments.
- Technological Mentorship: Provide insights, direction, and leadership within Tundra’s solution-driven practice.
- Security Supervision: Spearhead efforts in penetration tests, security fortification, firewall setups, and other security measures.
- Data Privacy Adherence: Ensure steadfastness in Cybersecurity Risk Management, Policy Adherence, Identity & Access Control, Data Safeguarding, and compliance with ISO 27001 norms.
- Privacy Regulation: Uphold data privacy standards in line with pertinent laws like PIPEDA, GDPR, and CCPA.
External:
- Client Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to Tundra clients, proposing tailored security solutions.
- Sales Collaboration: Join Tundra’s sales brigades to client discussions, championing security and data privacy expertise.
- Project Blueprinting: Work closely with clients and in-house teams to chart out projects, ensuring proposed strategies resonate with client needs.
- Resource Analysis: Gauge and allocate essential resources for project fruition, warranting punctual and effective project completion.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or akin fields.
- Certifications like CISSP or CISM are advantageous.
- Rich history in cybersecurity, information security, and related arenas.
- Proven acumen in captaining tech teams, vendor management, and client consultancy.
- Proficiency in ISO 27001 standards and its certification journey.
- Acquaintance with privacy laws: PIPEDA, GDPR, and CCPA.
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving prowess.
- Stellar communication, and rapport-building abilities.
- Unwavering dedication to confidentiality and data safeguarding.
- Experience in collaborating with global teams across varied time zones.
- Periodic global office visits might be necessitated.
