The Role: 

The Accounts Receivable Coordinator reports to the Accounts Receivable Team Lead and is responsible for providing financial and administrative support in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial operations, within tight timelines by: 

  • Monitoring customer accounts to ensure timely receipt of payments; 

  • Receive and post all client payments in the ERP system, perform internal reconciliation of accounts;  

  • Investigate and solve for discrepancies, working internally with various departments to ensure accuracy of payment application; 

  • Review A/R listings regularly to ensure account balances are up-to-date and current; 

  • Assist the team with queries in the A/R inbox; 

  • Organize and file all A/R collections information electronically;  

  • Perform all routine collections activity (i.e. contacting customers, sending A/R past due notices, follow-up with telephone calls on an on-going basis when applicable); 

  • Build strong customer and sales associate relationships to maintain positive business interactions; 

  • Assist A/R Team Lead in implementing process improvements and efficiencies within the department; 

  • Participate in projects as required. 

 

Who You Are 

  • Post-Secondary Diploma in Business/Finance an asset 

  • 1-2 years experience with Account Receivable an asset 

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel required  

  • Related work within a staffing industry is an asset 

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment is essential 

  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information 

 

The salary range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $48,000 – $52,000.
